The Healthy Source + Pecas de sal Poem ‘My Body’

You are my refuge, my ally, my guardian.

The warrior who can transform infinitely many times.

You are the stage where all my crazy things are expressed.

The only one who can understand the deepest part of my spirit.

You are the galaxy that I have in mind, coming to life.

The place where this beautiful chaos that is my soul is kept.

You are my home, my temple, my best friend.

You are the pencil and the map where I draw my adventures.

You have tattooed all my falls and all my contrasts.

You are the set of all that I have been.

And the reminder of all that I can be.

You are imperfectly beautiful and above all you are mine.

My Body / My Home

The theme of my body is something that constantly navigates my mind. The thought of all the things he can do seems like magic to me.

From my breathing to climbing a mountain. His way of reinventing himself, transforming himself, his great capacity for healing and above all the possibility of one day giving life.

Although I now see my body as the greatest blessing I have ever had, it was not always so.

Like the vast majority, I always felt a pressure to focus only on the physical aspect, I stopped eating without meaning, constantly compared myself with the rest and forced myself to do things that hurt me more than they benefited me. I did a lot of things without really focusing on my health and without even understanding the complex algorithm inside.

I grew up thinking that what was important was the outside and I never stopped to think about how everything that happened inside affected me.

Something so basic that, as a woman I should know, I didn't understand it. What good is having a perfect rocket on the outside if I can't use it to get to the moon.

Every day I am more surprised by the infinite capabilities it has, the importance of its phases, its cycles and above all how incredible it feels when you learn to listen to it and act to its greatest benefit. Something as simple as the food we choose daily can change our lives.

I firmly believe that each body is a limited edition.

Seven billion people in the world and none is equal to another. How authentic does that sound!

In a world where originality is increasingly forgotten and we believe that we have to fit into a mold and follow formulas to look for a false stereotype of beauty, the most beautiful thing about a body is lost, its health.

We have the enormous blessing of having a body designed exclusively for us, without a mold and without stereotypes. Therefore, it is illogical and even ignorant, to waste it, comparing it with others or forcing it to be something that it is not. Our body is a projection of everything we carry inside.

What we sow indoors will be what we will harvest, and it is impossible for flowers to grow if the soil is not full of minerals.

The body is not an accessory, it is a precision engine.

And in order to fly, it needs its phases, its marks, its changes.

It won't always be perfect, but its contrasts make it shine.

Today I understand that my body has only one mission: health and well-being. And to fulfill it we must recognize, feel, listen, savor, accept, but above all LOVE what we already are. Also, there is nothing more attractive in this world than a person who projects self-love.
