The Taste of Summer

Summer is the key time to sow the seeds of beauty and wellness. With the arrival of the intense sun, you will experience with real strength the energy and brightness that you began to build with a lifestyle of health and beauty. Summer is a season of abundance, with natural beauty everywhere: in the air, the trees, the sky ... and in your recipes.

First things first: keep in mind that the best skin is the best accessory.

When we do not trust or feel comfortable in our skin, we feel that it is risky to be seen and, like turtles, we hide under our shells. Don't fall for that mistake! Dedicate love and acceptance to your skin, so that it is your ally and gives you peace and security when you are under the spotlight. To shine without risking redness and future wrinkles, your best weapons are a broad-spectrum natural sunscreen and a diet of anti-inflammatory and UV-protective beauty, packed with foods I'll tell you.

This is also the season of creativity and activity, and remember to stay inspired, energetic and full of decision to continue your beauty lifestyle.

Being on a journey to be your best version does not mean stop living in the moment: live this summer to the fullest! There are many ways to enjoy the weather, the sun and nature despite the contingency. Wake up to the sun and jog or ride a bike. Or take advantage of the late dark for a night walk. Bury your hands in the potting soil, learn from the seedlings and watch a flower bloom. You can also plan a weekend excursion, with a picnic in a beautiful natural spot. It's about playing and creating meaningful experiences. Another option to experience the summer is to cook a recipe with seasonal ingredients. Or just eat them as a snack!

Summer is full of natural desserts: berries, stone fruits, melons and other tropical sweet fruits. In addition, it is the season of many vegetables with beauty benefits.

Every day is a new opportunity to nurture your beauty and happiness, and every little choice contributes to a major change. So I share a list of steps that can help you.

1. Eat fresh: Look for water-rich beauty foods like watermelon, melon, cucumber, celery, berries, lemons, and coconut water. All of these keep your body cool when it's hot outside. They are also natural diuretics.

2. Take care of your skin: Improve your anti-aging sun defenses with UV-protective foods such as lycopene and beta-carotene-containing tomatoes, carrots, watermelons, apricots, and vegetables, phytochemicals that help block UV damage to the skin .

3. Get moving: Do an exercise, walk, or meditation routine. Revive your mind and body and improve your mood and energy. Get in touch with yourself and with the earth.

4. Relax: Incorporate more fresh and raw food into your day and you will discover the radiant and lively nutrition of beauty that they offer.
